Standards Technology Group, Inc. is dedicated to providing online products and services related to industry standards and specifications. STG’s suite of online Web presentation services enables those who use standards to efficiently find, access, manage, and understand document content. STG also facilitates the transfer and management of complex written materials; our proprietary business technology offers secure Internet data basing and presentation models designed for flexibility and dynamic accessibility.

Document Management

Many hundreds of standards development organizations (SDOs) associated with virtually every industry segment publish thousands of standards, specifications, and codes. Millions of users in these industries depend on and benefit from these documents every day.

Yet, these documents remain static resources that can only be read or searched as they are only distributed via paper manuals or electronic PDF files.

These distribution formats preclude any real dynamic value-added solutions for accessing or understanding a document’s valuable content.

Content Management

STG has created a database and a suite of software services whereby virtually any document can be easily imported and accessed.

This means that through the use of STG’s technology and database, it is now possible to add dynamic value to existing content.

STG has developed a suite of online services called STGnet that are related to a document’s content and enable the reader to efficiently access and understand the content in a way that mere reading cannot accomplish.

STGnet is made up of a suite of online components, each one geared to a specific need. Taken together, these components yield a platform that creates a dynamic personal learning and reference experience available nowhere else.

STG Online Services

All of STG’s online services have one objective: to help the user access valuable industry-related content creatively and efficiently for easy reference and/or learning. The following services provide different views into the same content, but taken together the user can now customize and personalize the research or learning experience.

We call this unique database platform containing a suite of Internet application services STGnet. These services protect the copyright of industry standards material yet allow for dynamic access and learning methods. These methods in turn add to the database and bring layers of richness to the primary standards database content.
